David is one of the county councillors for Cottenham, Histon and Impington. He was first elected in 2005.

David has lived in Histon since 1997 and runs his own business, i2i-management.com, from home. He has enjoyed a varied career which has taken him around the world before returning to the UK. He has worked in the oil and gas and chemicals industries and in production line capital goods. His functional specialty is marketing.

He is a governor at Impington Village College and a non-executive director at Cambridgeshire Community Services, an NHS provider trust.

David has been a county councillor since 2005 and was leader of the Lib Dem group on the Council for three years up to April 2010. He is now the Lib Dem lead member for two of the Corporate Directorates viz finance and IT and customer contact. 

David’s interests include travel, eating and drinking well and all sports, especially Welsh rugby
