Lynda is a district councillor for Cottenham (including also Oakington and Westwick, and Rampton). She was first elected in 2010. She is also a Cottenham parish councillor.

Lynda has lived in Cottenham for nearly 7 years and with only a year’s absence has lived in Cambridgeshire for almost 17 years.  She has a daughter and one granddaughter. 

Lynda is now semi-retired although she says she’s never been busier.  She takes writing commissions, sells houses part-time and works on an ad hoc basis for a not for profit children’s day nursery.  Additionally she volunteers for a local charity and is a volunteer mentor at a school in Cambridge as well as being a very active member of her church.

Lynda spent the greater part of her working life developing business through its people and has had the privilege to work for 2 blue chip companies as training & development manager.  Her specialism is training and competence.
